About AthleTech Institution of Virginia
Our Mission
AthleTech Institution of Virginia was founded in 2018 by a group of former basketball professionals who all have children and found a need for more accessible community based programming with a redirected focus on the classroom while providing a safe haven for kids who are sports enthusiasts. Our goal is to provide tech gear free to pique kid's interest outside of sports. Along with free tech gear for the kids, we will provide special classes in things such as coding, website building, graphic design and more all for free.
Our Community
Our community is made up of all children and parents of Northern Virginia. We operate a sports program for all skill levels and ages under the name Elevate at our basketball community center in Lorton. We accept all members and have a place for all children. We supply our members with whatever take home tech and services are needed to help make them be the best version of themselves in the classroom and on the courts.
Our Partners
We partner with any local company looking to donate their tech equipment to us. We ideally want an endless supply of any tech related item to let the members use free. Whether it's ipads, laptops or materials needed to host events. Anything IT related we have a use for and you can get a nice tax deduction!
